Since the inception of the program, the BGP has undertaken the initiative to educate and give interns the self-learning oppurtunity by organizing various field trips. Some of the fileld trips that BGP has organized are:
Wissahickon Creek park in Philadelphia
Penn Dixie in Buffalo Area
Niagara falls
Glacier Grooves State park at Ohio.
The interns not only could explore geology, but also could carry back along with them, valuable material that would come to an aid for conducting outreach.
